Non Profit Center at the La Salle University School of Business

For over 35 years, The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University’s School of Business has served as a management service organization, providing resources to nonprofit organizations throughout the Delaware Valley that are grounded in best practices in nonprofit management, governance and operations.  Through educational programs, leadership development, training, consulting services, and its information and referral network, The Center’s team of experts continues to work with thousands of organizations in the Greater Philadelphia, South Jersey, Northern Delaware regions.

Cleveland State University Center for Public and Nonprofit Management at Levin

This one-year, comprehensive program allows nonprofit managers to sharpen their supervisory & management skills. Participants will engage in 19 customized workshops and a capstone project. Managers not only develop a nonprofit toolkit, but also complete real-world process improvement projects. Nonprofit Management Academy is specifically designed for nonprofit personnel.


The program features workshops equipping nonprofit practitioners with the necessary management tools to achieve success, sustain their organizations, better serve their clients and positively affect change in the community. The program content draws upon the curricular guidelines developed by the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council (NACC). Grounded in academic research and best practices, the instructional design delivers concepts, applications and methods illustrating the broad array of expertise vital to managing a sustainable operation, while adhering to the nonprofit’s mission.

A Vision of Change

In 1993 Delores Collins became the Executive Director and founder of A Vision of Change Inc. (AVOC), an Ohio based 501 c 3 not for profit organization.


For 23 years, AVOC has provided academic empowerment, intervention, and prevention services in many communities throughout Ohio with the largest target areas being the City of Cleveland with focus in Glenville and Central neighborhoods.  The mission is to assist in breaking the cycles of Illiteracy, poor health, teen dropouts, youth imprisonment and poverty. The organization’s programs and services target youth and families and are held within a variety of community locations including churches, schools, hospitals, health clinics and outdoor events or gatherings.
