Here's something to keep an eye on ... found this posted today by gzowner over at p4...let's see how it unravels... ;)

Well, gzowner has returned from his lil trip and provides this report...

Well folks here is the low down..

Well here how it all went down. I made the call to a cell phone, and we was to meet by a secrete word at a electonics shop. So this gave me a idea, i told him i was driving a car that was up the road from me, just to see if in fact it is a sting. Since the shop was a open window business, i figure he could see my car and make the phone call to the police. Well no police showed up and i walked in like i was looking for something. Browse around and everything seemed ok. I apporach the guy and gave the magic word. He took me to the back and there in plain view a DTV on the porn channel. No names were given, as we just carried the conversation on.. Well here is what was on the table. Sorry if my terms are not explainable, as i was just amazed on how much shit was involved.
1. A regular ISO xtal 18.mzh
2. A Unlooper type ISO. Look like a quad as it had 2 flash memories on it.. Couldnt get the xtal as it wasnt viewable.
3. Comptuer
4. 4gen Ird.
5. 4 Period 4 cards.
6. one p4 sub card, as he showed me the bill with it.

Ok. Now with the steps he showed me.
Before this, he took the card in put it in the ird to show me a 711 error. And no other channels was working, but the stupid Howto channel.
1. He took the sub card put it in the unlooper type ISO for a few seconds while he ran a program. The program looked like a VB5 type software. Maybe a mod-Winex? Anyhow the program ran for a few seconds, and said open at the end.No type of xtal was given, as i asked for it. He said that is the secrete that is to be remain with in.. but then said it could be around the 21mzh.. with a smile..

2. Then he took the card and put it in the regular ISO loader. NOT A UNLOOPER! Then he executed another program, as it looked similer to the Old Hu software extreame Hu. This software had the option to add tiers and to back up the image. But no PPV options was on this software. No ppv wipe eather. I asked why the 18mzh xtal? He said this is what the card requires. He tryed lower power but the card was getting slow each time he try it. So 18mzh is as low as you can go with these cards. Im sure you can go higher with it.. ??

3. Once the program add the tiers, he then put it in the 4 gen ird and it booted up and there was tv. However it took a few more mins for the rest of the channles to kick on. Now on with the testing of ppvs. Well the screen came up and asked if we wanted to order it. Well we did that and it didnt ask for a dial tone, it just went to the channel. It stayed on the channel for a few more mins and things went well. The rest of the channels, including movies and music was wide open. Now as to move it to another IRD like my 3rd gen i brought with me, it wouldnt work. The card marries to the ird once it is activated for that ird. You would have to redo the card each time you move it. He was able to clean the tiers from the card and put it back into "virgin" state. This is where the bug is. Some cards would clean easy and some just wont. Think its the type version of the card and when it was made????

Now he went on to the rest of the cards and the the process all over. Now with the sub card, it only got basic, as i went thrue the channels one by one to make sure he didnt edit the list. After that was settle, he put the card thru the same process above and added the movie channel. And it worked.

Ok I ask how was all this done. He explain to me that the basic hacking is done, but there are some bugs to be worked out. How it was done was pretty simple and a true coder would know how it can be done. I ask for a txt file for a ZKT to compare it, well that was a quck no. He stated that if this was on the net, then dave would do a trace on the card and start doing follow ups. But he went on, and said if you would log the stream while your surfing the channels, you can get the tiers for those channels. If you know what to look for in those logs, you can get the tiers. Also if you just log the stream, you will notice the same command over and over. This is the open command. This command is to open the card for the next command, and that command is commands another one. Each command ther after is what programs the card. One does the tiers adding, one does the tiers deleting, and one does the ppv writing. Now if you was able to log the stream during a Hu transfer, you can use the command to activate another card with the same sub you had. Now after this was all said and done, I said thank you and have a good day. But i hesitated and asked, why isnt this shit on the net so others can make it work better than was is done. He stated its all about who wants to be the hero, but dave has 2 groups on his shit list and if the programs get leaked those groups would be shot down, and a big ECM would be started. The cards are setup to be a one command, one kill. He went on and said its all politics as well. Then he just showed me the door. Sorry it aint much guys, but i hope this helps. I will try to explain more if i can.

That step was accomplished a long time ago, you can buy a cloned sub from a few places for quite some time now.

A cloned sub? Really? Wasn't aware of that. Have heard of shared subs but not cloned subs. So the card can be opened, copied, and written to?? Any more info on this? Man, i gotta do more reading, havent been keeping up, lol.

So, he "cloned" the sub to the 711'd P4 card...how'd he add the tiers? Just with the software? Wonder how the ppv's work...no limits or nuthn, according to this report.

Anyhoo, it's great to chat about it...even if it goes nowhere, i luv discussing it, lol. Damn, i sure miss that hu... :(
